The west coast has a local community of food advocates who have formed a way to have access to Island sourced produce and meats. Bobby Lax, the Tofino Ucluelet Culinary Guild’s (TUCG) Community Food Coordinator is dedicated to providing quality products to local residents and chefs. He represents both the farmer and the consumer, working hard to accomplish the TUCG mission.

As members of a dynamic culinary community, our mission is to work closely with each other and our region’s farmers, fishermen and foragers to provide unique food experiences that rely on sustainable farm/boat-to-table practices and the freshest local ingredients prepared with integrity and passion.
