Pets are not allowed on the property of the Tofino Botanical Gardens.

Is there any parking at the Tofino Botanical Gardens?

No, Grazing in the Gardens is a car free event. A shuttle service is provided.

Can I volunteer?

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket to Grazing in the Gardens is your admission to an afternoon of food, wine, music and artists in action, in the eclectic Tofino Botanical Gardens and includes a Reidel wine glass as keepsake. Gourmet canapes are provided by local chefs, with approximately 20 restaurants and artisan purveyors participating. More than 75 British Columbia wines and micro breweries serve tasting portions of their best products. Live music is provided throughout the gardens. A silent auction fundraiser provides guests an opportunity to take home food, wine, art and other Tofino items. The auction is managed by staff of the District of Tofino, and proceeds go to the Community Children’s Centre. There is complimentary shuttle service to and from the event.

Where do I get tickets to the events?

Tickets to each event are sold individually from event holders.
Ticket information will be included with each event listing.

What happens if it rains for Grazing in the Gardens?

Grazing in the Gardens is an outdoor event, rain or shine. Prepare for rain, gumboots and umbrellas, and hope for the best. Remember, Tofino is located on the wild west coast, and the event takes place in the heart of a rainforest, regardless of what Mother Nature wants to do.

Why is Grazing in the Gardens a car free event?

We do not allow guests to bring vehicles onto the property of the garden for two reasons;

1) To protect and discourage our guests from drinking and driving

2) There isn’t enough room in the parking lot to accommodate everyone.

The exception for parking in the garden is for chefs and winemakers, who need access to the gates, providing food and wine.

What are the transportation options?

There are several options for transportation. Tofino has a Multi Use Path alongside the Pacific Rim Highway, perfect for walking and cycling. Free Shuttle Service is provided, from various locations, starting at the Tourism Tofino Information Centre near Cox Bay, and ending in the village of Tofino. Finally, some resorts provide shuttle service. Check with your accommodation provider to see if this is an option.
