Kira started the festival in 2003. She oversees all areas of the festival. An event designer, communications expert, graphic designer, writer and lover of fine things, she enjoys quality food and wine, the beach and her family.

Team Merlot
Eli conceived the idea for Tofino Food and Wine Festival. His vision for the festival, combined with 20 years of experience in hospitality gives him a fine eye for the details of Grazing in the Gardens and the shape of the festival. A wood turner, writer and recreational athlete, Eli enjoys farmers markets, gardening and the beach.

Jenna Rogers, Team Leader

Team Pinot Noir
Jenna’s sharp eye and natural sense of style have been with the festival since the beginning. Her experience in the Victoria art scene and work in marketing and print brings valuable energy to the festival. An artist, marketing consultant and designer, she enjoys art shows, great food and fine wines.

Stephanie Hughes - Team Leader
Stephanie Hughes

Team Shiraz
Stephanie was the first feature artist for the festival poster, in 2003. Working in her community to establish Community Gardens, she is a true leader who cares about food and where it comes from. An artist, professional arborist and remote community coordinator, she enjoys the beach, her family and friends.


Miranda Moore

Team Viognier
Miranda Moore is a natural concierge, with extensive experience in the hospitality industry and a love of food and wine that has made her a fixture at the Festival since 2007. Miranda’s vivacious personality is paired nicely with her sincere desire to ensure that all her guests experience the best of  Grazing in the Gardens.


Hayden Harvey

Team Cabernet
Hayden is another Tofino Wine Festival original. A multi-talented Artist, Jewellery Designer and Kayak Guide she infuses her longtime love of the West Coast into everything she touches and shares this gentle passion with everyone she meets. She enjoys drinking wine on deserted beaches with the people she loves. Her favourite dinner is dark chocolate with tequila.

Rebecca Wellman

Rebecca has been attending the TFWF since 2004, first as a huge fan and secondly as the official photographer. She has been a professional photographer for 15 years. Rebecca photographed the award winning Island Wineries of British Columbia book (Touchwood) in 2010, and has worked extensively for a number of print publications both as a photographer and a writer.
